How it works

From statement export
to cash decision.

CashCatalyst builds one organization-wide cash ledger from records you review. That ledger powers the position, forecast, signals, planning tools, and reports.

The workflow

Four steps, one source of cash truth.

The process is intentionally review-first. Proposed imported rows remain outside the ledger until a user confirms them.

01

Import a statement export

Upload a supported CSV, Excel, or standard PDF bank statement export. Add an account name so each record remains traceable in a multi-account organization.

02

Verify the proposed transactions

CashCatalyst checks for duplicate files, proposes cash-flow and management categories, and keeps the rows in a review queue. Confirm them or discard the import.

03

Understand cash today

Confirmed records feed the shared ledger, consolidated position, account balances, expected money in and out, daily brief, and ranked signals.

04

Look ahead and follow through

Use the 13-week forecast, disposable what-if scenarios, budgets, receivable and payable follow-up, and period reports against the same organization data.

Why statement-based

Control what enters the ledger.

No bank login required

CashCatalyst does not ask for online-banking credentials. You choose the statement export to upload.

Human review stays in the loop

Classification suggestions remain proposals until a user confirms the import.

Multiple accounts, one organization

Account labels preserve source detail while the organization view keeps the total consolidated.

Learned corrections

Confirmed category corrections can become organization-specific mappings for later imports.

Current boundary: CashCatalyst uses uploaded statement exports; it does not provide direct bank synchronization. Support depends on the file containing usable transaction dates, descriptions, and amounts.
One organization ledger

Shared records without losing their source.

Transactions belong to the organization so members work from the same cash history. Each imported record can still retain its bank-account label and import source.
